Angel's Race Triathlon

On Sunday morning, Bill and Ruthie participated as a team in Lynchburg's Angel's Race Triathlon http://www.angelsrace.com Bill biked a most challenging terrain and Ruthie swam and ran. It was quite exciting going through this experience with them and having to deal with such a hot day besides! The Angel's Race Triathlon encourages support for cures for cancer and other diseases plus remembers those who have died from them. Since William, their son, has Type 1 diabetes, they named their team "William's Hope" and Ruthie got us all tee shirts to match. Congratulations to Bill and Ruthie for an outstanding job in each category. Thanks to Erica for some still shots at the end of the video:)

Grandma's 92nd Birthday Party

Today most of the family gathered for Grandma's 92nd birthday party at the nursing home. We all had a great time. Her actual birth date is April 28, but we celebrated 10 days early:) The video shows a lot of the newest greatgrandchild, baby Adeline, who is Grandma's second greatgranddaughter out of 8 greatgrandchildren.
