Sammie and Sarah

I wanted to post these 2 recent pictures of Sarah and Samuel since they are so "good"! I believe Kathy took this picture at Great Wolf Lodge of Samuel. Ruthie took the picture of Sarah when Bill and Sarah went to a "Father and Daughter Dance" recently.

Old Zito Family Portrait

This is a family picture taken in 1943 by my Uncle Russ who was a professional photographer. On the far right of the photo is my father, Benjamin Zito. On the floor sitting second from the right is I with the curly hair. IN the center are my grandparents surrounded by our family. For some reason, my sister Margie and our mother are not pictured. I am thinking maybe my mother had just given birth to Margie and they didn't come out of the house so soon back then.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chef Andrew

What to do on a sick day with a grand child. On this particular day, I decided to let Andrew "surprise" his mother with preparing dinner for the family. After all, he was home getting over having a cold, so "we" decided to buy some chicken, brocolli and mac and cheese for dinner. Andrew especially enjoyed handling the raw chicken since his mother is quite repulsed by raw chicken to the point that she has to ask someone else to clean it and fix it. She can eat it cooked but for some reason she cannot touch it. So, here we go with the memories:)
